Celebrating Teaching Day 2016

Save the date to for Celebrating Teaching Day 2016 on March 15, 2016 from 10:30am-1pm!  We hope you will be able to join us to be inspired by the practices and initiatives your colleagues are using to help their students make real world connections between their classes and their goals, communities, the environment, and the world.  This event will begin with an educator poster session featuring research-based teaching initiatives underway on campus, followed by educator honors and a luncheon.  To conclude the event Georgia Tech faculty members will inspire participants to keep improving as teachers as the invited speakers share effective teaching strategies and innovative educational initiatives that enhance their students’ learning.  Following these Lightning Talks, participants will have the opportunity to engage in roundtable discussions with the speaker(s) whose ideas most resonated with them.
